Seriously, between some big projects with work and taking on the interim role of Director for the MBRA, I haven't been able to train that much lately. However, the team and I were at Vets on Saturday playing SUPERFAN, eating and drinking at the BBQ (Thanks Two Wheel Tango and Jolly Pumpkins beer!) and just taking in the great racing! Check out my son trying to give me a wedgy in this video! :)
All I can see is, start your training for 2009 NOW! If everything falls into place, the Michigan road racing calendar is going to be STACKED with awesome events!
Agree with the first comment. In the grand scheme which is the better title? No one cares about a state championship title but local riders. You've been state champ and are on the way to better titles. If you don't secure it in NJ go to Portland and bring it home for you.
Michigan State Championships or USGP overall, which do you think is more prestigious? Go west and bring it home to Michigan
ReplyDeleteAgreed, you've already won the State Championship and the Series. Go win a jersey and get yourself in the news.
ReplyDeleterighteous is he who travels to far-off lands in the name of victory.

ReplyDeleteMike is a great ambassador of the sport, a real class act! We can only hope for a national championship to boot!!!
