Mad Anthony report?. They musta had over 200 people racing. You could tell it was a lot, their registration peeps was overwhelmed, which sucked. I don't think I've ever seen 200 racers in a CX race in Michigan, EVER!

Something like 65 in the B race I was in. Super crazy with that many racers. Felt like the Nat'z in RI when I went, but w/o the shitty weather.

L-ville may have been cool, but racing in Motown was the bomb!

Coolest CX course yet in michigan. THey kept the rat-maze crap down to a minimum and just let the racers ride. Definitely a power course.

  5. Over 200 racers? That seems very hard to believe. I'll need to see some data to swallow that one. Any results out there? That's a lot more than Tailwind gets. If this is true, Robert should be a little embarrassed.

Looks like the old guys did well down south. That's good to see. Parmelee still racing down? Say it ain't so! You can't win Elite races in Michigan and then sandbag on the big stage. Time to bump er up buddy. Nice to see Ann bounce back on Sunday. Tom Burke rep'd the Pro's well too. Anyone else out there? Saw ex-Scener Jason Karew was out there too. Glad to see he's still racing.

  6. 185 starts, 2 DNS's for 187 paying racers.

I don't know if that's a record for MI CX, but it's got to be up there.

No way anyone who puts on CX races should be embarrassed. After this weekend, WHEW! CX races, with the set up, etc, are the toughest to organize.

We definitely had some problems at MACX, but in the end it went off.

    Hats off to MICHIGAN CX!!!!

    Next year, 200+++

    now..... GET MAD!!!!

If you want, I can poop in my hand and throw it at you at the next race.
    Oh, you said Friday.
    Never mind then.

seems like the USGP pooped in their hand and threw it in the racers faces. Lots of negative comments on the really short courses which caused people to get lapped in about 12 minutes, then pulled. Dust, huge fields, etc, etc.

    report?

i know there not all bad, but get rid of the hidden “The Argyle Army” link.
    Your losing my respect TMS.

The short lap times were a small issue which they tried to correct on Sunday by lengthening the course. Still not quite long enough, but on short notice, they most likely did all they could.

Here's a thought concerning the lapping issue. Excluding the Pro race, if you don't want to get lapped, consider training instead of whining.

Speaking of whining, now we're also crying about dust and dirt during a cyclo-x race? What's next? Maybe complaining about bad weather in November/December?

Wow, what a bunch of pussies!

"I'm slow, so you should make the course longer to accomodate my girly bitch ass. Can we come to Michigan and race on the old Hudson Mills course? That was at least 10 minutes long, so I might make it there. Or maybe split my race up, so the promoters have yet another class of jag offs to listen to bitch and moan because everything isn't perfect and I might not have gotten $35 worth of cool life experience. While they're at it, why don't they pay our hotel bills too? I mean, without us good ol packfill, the USGP might shrivel up and blow away. By the way, please blow my head off so all you tough real motherfuckers can get on with your lives and race on the lead lap."

    Jeez.

Let's face it, the course in KY prety much sucked. They got lots to do before 2013. Cinci was 1000% better.
