Well to clear up the rumor, Im not entirely.."down" on em.

Im sideways on em..

Gary..You have known me for a long, you have been around the me, and are one of the original behind the scene personalty. So you should know me.

The race scene is such a finicky thing. and the sideways movement on BIG RACES, is that they have just turned into this thing...

This Thing of Godzilla like proportions, that even the seasoned Roadie Dad has himself second guessing his weekend plans

Take The Michigan Famous ICEMAN race..the end all be all of the way a roadie, a mommy, and a pig farmer from Coldwater should end his season. 

Over a hundred waves of riders line up to get to the Ridge and toast the season out in style! The build up is more exciting than the day. Folks spend the 31 days riding talking and dreaming of rolling out of Kalkaska, only to get jammed up behind some Phart bike. The waves of riders are just gosh darn ridiculous.

Now before you all go road rage on me..there is an exception..

I know its about the grip. plain and simple..money..money..money...I and im taking anything away from the winners or discrediting the fact and status of winning the whole enchilada 

And then since Ts on a rant, I gotta throw the now opening to the season Barry Roubaix under the proverbial bus of TMS., or any of the current go-to gravel races for that matter. When the hot-shoes, that are sprinting for that result only to get marred up in first timer high jinxes,

 Has this old coot seeking enjoyment in other places.

Come on Gary you know what mean.

There is certain level some folks get to, maybe its just me, but i aint that bankrupt on life that i gotta weed through a crowd, or stumble over discarded water bottles just to get a beer and shamy talk  for a few hours, with hopes that ill get to strike a pose for social media traction.

But Hey what do i know?
