I believe Jan Selow has "retired" and is currently working for Chrysler.

Nate G was living in Ashville, NC (maybe married) and if I were him, I wouldn't come home.

  4. Daniel Gillespie is working for SRM. The life of a rock star! He is based in Colorado Springs. We miss him back in k-zoo. He checked in for the past holidays.

    Yesterday evening e-mail reads....

    Hey,

Hows it going? Hope you guys are doing well. Just back from Milano SanRemo, pretty cool event, I cant get over how long those guys race and then just kill it at the end. Ive seen some hard days at the tour but this one is hilly, windy and nearly 300 km in length. I can see why they like it to prepare for the Belgium classics! Now Im back in Lucca for a while, hoping to start riding some since Im in terrible shape but today is Easter and also cold & rainy, think I will just eat, drink some wine and start training tomorrow.....hope all is well.

    Daniel

Do not forget what today is!

  16. Bryan Chung is now Bryan Jung. He is married to Matt Colligan's sister and they live in Gladstone, Michigan. As far as I know, he still rides. The last time he rode with a group was the 2003 edition of the High Country Pathway ride.

By the way, I am still around. I do not race that much and never considered myself a Michigan Scene rider because of lack luster results over the years.

I have started my own mountain bike team.

I will speak for myself. I am back to training, albeit for 4 or 5 weeks now. Nothing insane, just missed the scene and being near my friends. Whoever the masochist was who chose Fisk Knob to finish in a brutal headwind and uphill I thank them. Hope to see the sceners this summer out racing cuz I will be.

Webster isn't dead. completely at least. I am alive and currently residing at 6500 feet in Albuqueque N.M. I quit road racing in 2005, managed RideClean cycling for two years, and am doing duathlons, getting ready to qualify for Duathlon Worlds in Belgium. I was in Michigan FEB and March doing some toughness training and taking a break from galloping around AZ and NM chasing good weather and climbs...All the best to the MI scene.
