ha ha! This reminds me of a post a while back from hater-of-snakes. And I quote ". . .but god dam, thats why most of the US gals get there guts ripped out on a international level".
    Suck it.
    Big time.

With the exception of Compton, let's see how these gals would do if they weren't coming off their Nationals peak. They're done by World's.

But give them twice as much money as the men since they try real hard.

Well, um, let's see if Lance would be able to win the tour without doing all that, um, training he does. Why wouldn't they peak for Nats, considering they would have to race in Europe through Feb. mostly on their own dime!? Why don't you put your money where your mouth is, and fund a Euro Women's cyclocross team?
Bunch of hard talk coming from someone who most likely has never raced outside of the midwest, except that time mom and dad sent you to one of those "Bicycling Magazine" OTC devo camps. . .

That is the most ridiculous thing I've ever read. I didn't post those results as a men vs. women thing. Just giving props to a job well done by the ladies. BTW, the US had 3 women in the top 15 @ World's last year. Georgia & Rachel weren't even there. Give your Mom a kiss, hug your sister, think of your grandma, & call your Aunt.

I'm not sure if you just made a mistake but Rachel Lloyd was at worlds last year... she was the highest placed "American" finishing 9th. Compton DNF'd because of her legs cramping.

    Ahhh yes you're right!
    I was thinking 2007...my bad.
Yes, so 2008 Lloyd was 8th there... Gould was not there at all... & Compton DNF'd.
