Let's discuss the morons bitching about Iceman registraion fees. I've seen complaints about a racer's return on investment, etc. Seriously delusional. Is amateur racing the main source of income for some of you tools? The majority of bitching I've seen is from people riding $5k+ bikes too. Pathetic, don't like it don't go. Pretty simple
ROI in cash is a stupid complaint, but bitching about cost seems legit. Saying they should suck up the cost of a race because they have an expensive bike is BS. Most of those guys aren't even amateur bike racers, they are just guys that happen to do a race or two because they are "the bike guy" around the water cooler at work. The bike is how they have fun and fight off the rest of that middle aged paunch they are sporting, it doesn't mean they have to bend over and take it if someone tells them they need to spend more money to do something. It isn't about ROI in the monetary sense at all, rather it is the ROI on the experience and for most people that can be maximized at a race like Peak to Peak, Ore To Shore, or knocking out a couple weekends of Kisscross or Tailwind.
Some are so PRO, others have been suckin on the tit of an OEM all their lives and are used to hand outs for basically just being a warm body that breaths.
