 The beginning of ugly....
If the road world only new what was lurking on the horizon

Shades of the past
Cone Azalia RR
The  brain child of Multi National champion Super Dave..
The Cone Azalia was a hard mans day at the office...it wasn't today's type of fun..and people didnt do it to wave to the crowd..no one raced in dress up..

(cept for that gal that killed the women's field
that one in year in cut off jeans...)

The original edition was often plagued by Overcast clouds spittin 50 degree rain...nasty Monroe county winds..stopped trains...or Volkswagen size potholes that would bend forks back into the down-tube. It was gravel, shitty uneven hot patched several times crowned farm roads..
on a rainy May day..it died a very sad death in the end.

Maybe if it would of been fun..and goofy it still would be around today..
but we doubt..
