Sherman..well Mr Peabody, I had and I am still having a really hard time coming up these predictions, I mean I don’t really even know any of the people on this list you gave me..

Mr Peabody...no problem Sherm, I figured you would’ve had a difficult time, so let me be of some assistance. First off let’s take a quick look at how the Michiganscene breaks down it’s classes.

You see we have the Elite race 1/2/3, and within that Elite race we have what’s known as Elite masters. And then Sherman, I believe we have a race called the 3/4/5 race, so that being said if you raced the Elite race as category 3 rider, you are than allowed to race 3/4/5...but correct me I am wrong. You could also be a category 2 rider on the road side but only category 3 on the cross side, and you might be an Elite level masters rider, but hold only a category 3 license, so this will allow you to race the 3/4/5 race well..

Sherman, geee Mr Peabody just listening to that has me tired..

Mr Peabody...um...yeah...and I believe that i too am not fully up to the challenge of calling this weekends foray, so took it upon myself to turn the way back machine even a little further back and bring some back up, if you say....

Henry..Maybe...what gives?

Mr  Peabody..Well Mr Henry..we are asking for some power numbers, and or general predictions for this weekends upcoming State Championship.

Henry..What..it’s only late October! Back in my days,  cyclocross was a sport meant to get you through the dark days of late autumn, and early winter, and by fuckn golly your telling me, the State Championship is now being held while there still leaves on the maples!  Holy stinky bat turds, I must of accidentally drowned and didn’t know..

Mr Peabody..well Mr Henry, um..it’s kinda of a different place, now..well with gravel races taking up time spots on the fall calendar, and we’ll just um the general attention span of the human population, cross kinda got a little different since that mishap you had while playing on the ice..

Henry...I think it’s probably because the majority of scene is scared put on there big boy pants and  glue up some real tires, and get muddy, and cold...

Mr Peabody..so is this a no?
