 Tripper…so Rabbit..what’s up..?

Rudy..not much Tripper, I just thought well since it’s the new year and all we needed something to fill the void of all the images and rad Shit that gets thrown around and this blog every 3 to 4 hours

Tripper.. OK, I hear ya, let’s have it rabbit!

Rudy.. I mean like I got a lot of time on my hands I at least I did during the holiday season and I was stumbling around the Internet and I found that Ohio had a pretty rad gravel schedule coming up for 2024. I mean it’s decisively different than what the scene is proposing!

Tripper. Well, I guess I never really looked at it rabbit, and what way?

Rudy,  heavy sigh, well for one every weekend isn’t clogged up with a race somewhere! I mean that’s pretty good in a way it gives you a chance to do other things throughout the year instead of trying to race and run around all crazy trying to score points I mean I appreciate the folks of The, Michigan gravel series I really do but I mean I may not be bumping and elbows on the pointy end but history has shown that not only in bike racing but in life in general too much of a good thing turns out to be pretty sour! Cyclist have shown to have an addicted personality. If there was less, boy it might allow other disciplines to grow of flourish, I have a hard time with a gravel only scene. Im old but aint stodgy

Tripper, So I Kinda get it it would be like if you sat here every day instead of just one day a week slurping and strawberry milkshakes you probably get pretty sick of strawberry milkshakes, right?

Rudy. Yeah, exactly I mean to say it again I respect the Michigan gravel series. I really do. I just hope it doesn’t eat itself up like so many other series over the years. They’re very few things I believe that people can digest constantly and I’m not quite sure tripper if it’s driving around every weekend.

Tripper, Well, what’s to say everyone’s is gonna drive around don’t you think there’s enough? Gravel enthusiast out there to go around? I mean the scene is a pretty big scene and everybody seems really stoked.

Rudy, I Get it tripper, I just think it hurts other aspects and disciplines of our sport life isn’t getting any cheaper and the cost of things do not seem to be declining and 2024 didn’t add 10 more weekends to everybody’s life, so going out to Yankee Springs or The local trail network  and or just taking care of business In and around your busy life suddenly gets pretty congested I truly believe every promoter wants to give out the best experience for the dollar and I’m not knocking the promoters I get it. I just worry that people are gonna get fat and lose the hunger.

Tripper.. Well rabbit, I guess that’s something to think about mean I don’t see too many folks driving to that great state of Ohio to do their series but I do understand where you’re coming from. I guess we’ll just have to keep an eye on the numbers.

If you want cool hills and backwoods, check out out Lake Hope State Park. Was home to the Little Burr 250 mile National Enduros in the old days.
