Few things in life get T the 20 yr old lift off better than a fair haired girl from the north country wrapped in the finest flannel..one of those being a well dialed and sweet ass cross rig, kit super executed course..man somethin about that is so gall darn sick..waking up to a cool crisp fall morning no old man body aches the motivation cup seems bottomless..smooth drive..early arrival..plenty of times to do the right thing warmin up..one lap slower than shit... next lap..aerobically and then one final coming in hot to all the sketchy lines..done with plenty of time get changed and finish off..but sometimes things aint like that..sometimes things can get pretty fucked up ya know what i mean haters...
Cyclocross season is looming despite the temps till hovering near deaths atmosphere..its looming..gawd dam just the other day i heard those eager words from a bright eyed first timer....cant wait until Alma..man im registered looking forward to the fun...one suckas lets not candy coat this thing we have all been there we know the fun part is easily disillusioned by the perfect storm picture i just painted..riding the rig he described and the state of his "race" fitness..T know there will only be small pockets of fun in between the suffocation bubbles pulsing through his foggy grey matter...humans..dam i just love am..

I like the idea of the Alma GP being the big kick off to the season, and love the fact JB is still out there ringin the bell..I see the Giant is comin down from the dark forest now thats scary ...five official USAC races on the calendar..not bad... not good..i dunno what to make of it..im leaning towards the good..at least for 99.9% of the folks..An early state championship might be good for a place that is going through EbnFlo..crammed in there is at least 3 gravel road races..Steves green machine and assorted mtb things....neat stuff
The Kisscross looks to be solid and if i would put my money on id say its now the best the scene has to offer as far as series is concerned if your into series..i told ya years ago Ricks doin right...evolution is a beautiful thing..never woulda thought 10 years ago it would be that way..but im good with it no one surfs forever..
Couldnt have a scene without people..and in Ts filthy worthless opinion...looks to be one of the most solid starts in years..perusing the start list for this weekend and T can see some familiar faces in all the usual places..nothin too strange....but really people lets not pull any punches...i hate to hate..but im pretty sick of seeing the same fools racing the same class year after year..i get it if your not winnin why move up..ok..you get the free pass..but come on we all know there is at least a hand full of creeps calling out there....maybe find your man pants and pull em on one leg at a time or even both legs i dont care..but pull the those fuckers up get out of your comfort zone take a chance..if you dont and you do make the steps please do yourself a favor and the ones who know yer a phony bag of shit and stop postin come Monday morning...just for god sake step up..
