1. Ride a different bike if available, it’s amazing what changing partners will do for you.
2. Change your bar tape…it’s gross and you know it..besides it will give you something new to look at, because..
3. You probably ride the same miserable loops everyday, stop! Go somewhere different Mthrfckr
4. Stop breathing so much, throw in a few intervals, a few times a week, hell once a day.
5. Wear a different kit and a fresh helmet..dirty and sticky is no way to go through the week.
6. Ride a bike with flat pedals, and normal clothing
7. Urban explore on, pretty sure you have missed some cool things close to home.
8. Ride no more than 30 minutes, all that epic shit can make it Derek a dull boy.
9. Do 20k time trial once a week for a month, 20k is short enough to not tax you, and a neat way to motivate you to go faster.
10. Stop trying to meet mileage or hour goals for a month. Just Fckn ride your bike
11. Ride with music, even if you have a terrible taste in it…or
12. Change your playlist, daily..
13. Take pics, someday you won’t be doing this anymore
14. Ride a clean bike, it feels faster, smoother and looks better than climbing on the noisy grubby thing.
