Fucked by Fiat: Part 2 Lancia (Stratos HF, 1973). The road-going Bertone-designed Stratos was a homologation version of the very successful Stratos rally car that dominated the WRC in the mid-late 70s.

Fiat took control of Lancia in 1969, rescuing the company from bankruptcy. Under Fiat's ownership things went well enough for Lancia in the 1970s, 80s and into the 90s but things got complicated when Fiat also took over Alfa Romeo. Their strategy was that Lancia would be the "luxury" brand and Alfa would be "sporty." It didn't really work out for Lancia, a series of unsuccessful launches left then with a single model, the Ypsilon which sold strongly in Italy and keep the band alive. Now, as part of Stellantis, Lancia is relaunching with a range of electric models
