P2P
I know this is old news..but like i often say...I keep telling myself this has to be on my destination list, but for some odd twist i haven' been givin the meaning to my mission, so ill keep searching until that day. No matter that don't mean nothin to most of you folks..But year after P2P seems to be getting more shall i say in a unlike T cliche way.."Epic"..If it wasn't for Mother nature laying down one of her most cramp infested monthly bills on the beautiful golden landscape of our fatherland this past weekend it would a been a hit, instead it was a full box of Midol for anyone that sought the meaning...Im a tad disappointed in the turnout, but i guess folks got choices ..ya know.. I got a whole allota love for everyone that keep this one going until its time, and props to our west side partner KOLO-TC for such a speedy report.

TAO of Drift
Sleepless nights via uncontrollable forces capped off by crisp mornings got T lurking around his grey matter lookin for answers.....
Answer... for the basis of another irrelevant shit post like most are thinking..I know this aint what some of you want...ya know the pre race P2P banter..or the Lower Huron predictions..I know most have already faded on me along time ago...But to be frank KOLO-TC beat me to the P2P punch and to talk shop about the prediction of the newly re-invented Lower H is just not gettin me "lift off" this a.m. so i gotta drift even if it means driftin solo...
WTF..is T gettin at..well.... I was yesterday like usual standing around with a female friend..making small talk and ..just standing..and well i got to watchin...watchin people..women, men etc..thinking...about a certain thing we all do....our stance...No im not talking how we are during confrontation.. Im talkin about your out right honest standing position waiting for the gun to go off, hanging out at TGIFridays, the position you are in waiting for your number while listing to the same shit droning out around you..that stance...
So that being said i quickly got a hold of a dozen or so friends and polled there stance on there stance..and i found there answer quite interesting, the criteria "describe yours in one word"..answers came verb like quickly...snarky, pure, dopey, tall ,fucked and legit, tired broken, lame sexy and invisible were some of the few that stood out..That put some doubts to rest between my ears knowing i wasn't far off when i was silently throwing out clueless, quiet, creepy sultry, milfy and just plain half witted harebrained to those innocent chumps around me...
try it sometimes when boredom sets and really you don't give a shit about how so in so's training is going or how the ap they just got for that ridiculous over priced cell phone works to update there status..

Another Shit post... to kill time
I got up feeling a tad groggy this a.m. Ya know not super motivated to check dials
and kick the day. Maybe the dampness in T's bones is starting to take its toll
or maybe a few too many Schlitz while Sunday melted away
either way i was in no hurry to get the week rollin on a positive note.
That was until i caught wind of the scope of things.. then I knew everything
was gonna be swell.
I love the fact even on quiet weekend noise still can be found, whether its
the good size contitegnt of michigan crossers like the ROADKING, Das German
and the Bunny Bouncing around a two state area,
Or Shrek and RONC runnin around SIMONSTER's stomping grounds..
Kinda like the calm before the storm what with P2P, Lotsa Big crossin and the IceCream race
comin up.. im surprised folks can even catch there breath...
No matter what.. like i often have said
"Love is a verb... and Verbs show action"
keep spreading it ....

Sleep Talkin
There are things that keep you up at night that are worth the price of the night out with my Atlanta friends, and there are those that are just probably another poorly punched out shit post, this being the latter. T layed in bed the last few nights with a certain Schlitz induced gusto for half the night trying to wrap his head around why we as a scene and humans for that matter have nic named each other. T used to have this opinion and he felt strong about it.. Your Momma and your daddy gave you name, a dam good one, could a been an old family name, a place where you born or conceived or even the friend of an ex lover I don't know..I used to stick to it..but somewhere along the mixed up trail i stumble along i fell into the hype..and well started socially tagging people with nic names. Mind they all have a reason, some may agree others might not, and many were around from dark ages and shouldn't get credited to a T as they have another source. So that being said i may as well put my sleep talk-in to use..heres a sample..theres more but i wouldn't wan impose anymore hate..

Jordan Wakely: the Graying Giant his stature

Jeff Wienert LIL PONY: comes form yore rides unbridled with youth and vigor
Tony Bruley Pappa T: its a kid thing you wouldn't understand
Dan Klien DANNYK: obvously its a play on his name, but it doesn't hurt he sometimes dances off the front, like the real Danny Fuckin k
Jake Rytleski: Jake the snake..simple every Jake gets that tag at some point
JTP? just too picky, jump trip and puke? Jon Tom and Paul? i dunno
Alexey V KIDA, he's good like Radiohead
Mike Siminson SIMONSTER: see shreks definition
Derek Grahm DG: his inittials, strangley enough they also mean Dam Good.
Dan Lam Sacrificial Lamb: blame that on the Cone mishap a few years back
Sven Baumann: Das German: this one is easy
Dan Yankus: Dam Yankus just sounds good..
Andrew Florian: Fly-weight the kid is small but quick
Mackenzie Woodring BigRing: cuz she is soo dam strong
Jon Card The Black Ace: no need to define this one..the man is an excellent Card player
Jason Lummis Beer Buddy: makes a good drinking pal and was once part of the semilegendary Bells team
SJD: a play off her name...but bugs ear is more befitting
Corey Stange Mustange: also a play on the same..but often rides like the Ford Muscle car fast but not extreme
Alan Zoltoski: Z-Man seems like everyone with a last name that ends with Z gets tagged Z-Man, I like Zolo-Jesus better..the God of the weeknights
The Future: its anyone's guess
Brian Kozeliske: Lil Brian he's small and he reminds me of this kid that works at the party store down the street from my house

\
Brian Adams: The Eagle..how he rides with his elbows sticking out like the bird
Arm Pit: any small dude or dudette that gets under your arms..aint gonna name em
Richard Rainville: Just the Kid: well he's a kid, and we've watched him go from pre teen to semi fast older teen.
Tom Burke The Road King: one the MBRA for something title quite often
Adam York The Bunny: his riding style jumpy like a cute short bald sarcastic bunny..

BMC signs Larry Warbasse
from cyclingnews:
young American joins Phinney and van Garderen
BMC Racing Team has announced the signing of talented young American rider Larry Warbasse and renewed Yannick Eijssen's contract as it continues to rejuvenate its roster for the 2013 season.
22 year-old Warbasse hails from Michigan and has been a part of the BMC Racing Team Under 23 program since 2010. He finished fifth overall at the mountainous Ronde de l’Isard stage race in France and helped fellow American Joe Dombrowski win the Baby Giro d'Italia, while riding for the US national team.
Warbasse said that signing with BMC Racing Team fulfills a dream. "And for that dream to finally come to fruition is unbelievable," he said in a press release from the team.
"Next year, I hope to gain as much experience as possible about racing and riding in the pro ranks. I don't think there is a team with more experienced riders to learn from and I want to soak up as much knowledge as I can."
"The pro races are better for him than the amateur races because he's good at the longer distances, but we won't put pressure on him for results," directuer sportif Jean Lelangue said. "He'll learn the job of being a good teammate and learn a lot from our team leaders."
Dombrowski and Ian Boswell will ride for Team Sky in 2013, further boosting the number of young American riders in the European peloton.
BMC Racing Team has already announced the signing of Italy's Daniel Oss, 21-year-old Danish national champion Sebastian Lander and renewed several other riders' contracts as it rejuvenates its roster. George Hincapie has retired, while veteran Swiss rider Johann Tschopp will ride for the new IAM Project team.

TAO of Mike
Mike: Lawrence are you awake? Lawrence..?
T: yes Mike im awake im just lying here
Mike: Thats fine my visit is brief this time as i have some other places to be on the crisp morning
T: that's OK cuz i do as well
Mike: what i stopped by for was to commend you and our North west side friend for its loyalty, and unity at keeping the Miscne alive
T: why thank you, but what exactly do you mean?
Mike: Well Lawrence its like this you have this Miscne thing your handling here and over there you have this Kolo-TC thing going on, two very different ways of keeping your, friends, enemy's, lovers and haters in tune to whats going on, on the pinning side of cycling. Two very unique ways of spreading love giving credit to folks that keep there weekend dreams alive.... All the while your doing it for no monitory gain.
T: I cant speak for the Kolo..but at times it seems like every day is my last and every post may be as well, and the light switch to my job here could be turned off at any given new day. I always.... no matter what give it my all, so until its over completely and the URL is no longer there... i will continue on like my momma taught me.
Mike: I know you will...Thanks again and tell your friend as well..
T: thanks Mike, and Thanks Kolo-Tc and the Scene as well....we got another good solid eights weeks plus of good stuff coming lets keep it rolling
