1, Brian W the road general seems about right
2.Pappa T parks it at the front to block for his teammates..come on Pops teach these kids somethin usefull
3. 4,5,6,7,,,in a 7 man break..nice now finish it off..
4.Ken V leaves the Lathrup rat pack and reemerges in the sea of others
5.Mike D seems like a decent guy..he partially has embraced the strava world...lots of followers but follows no one..
6.Speaking strava-there were grumblings of disgruntled dudes post Waterford. Crack in the foundation? Rumors circulate of dudes already to jump ship...see #14
7.Hey PappaT brian W..Mark K..or whoever is runnin this show double your pleasure and break this shit up into two teams at times..Expose some of these guys to real world race situations,,instead of the safety in numbers game thats being played now..if not get used to #3 happening more often..
8.Benny whats his name? whats with top tube pedaling thing? Its dangerous and your not making any friends..silly  id love to see that shit when the real fast dudes come around..
9.team meetings before a race..great idea..but looks wacked when its 30% of the field..the rest look left out..

14. Team break-down..a couple of dudes with good engines..who can power a break or go alone..2 ok sprinters..and a hole slew of other players,,prediction...its a bad situation when you have a alot of guys that can do the same thing..ride in breakaways..im sure at some point everyone will get there chance but its a long wait with the few races we have now..if the infighting hasnt started yet..it will soon..There can only be one Bissell and they do it right,,
15.Thanks for picking up Waterford on the holiday weekend...beats driving to Iowa...

Two Dead Guys

Gary:
In my worthless opinion Lemmy nothin trumps style..

Lemmy;
ya know Gary im not even sure what that word means but i know what i like when i like it..

Gary:
no worries  friend...take yourself for an example..you are probably the most stylish dead guy i know..and for one simple reason you dont even try..the beauty of you is you do not even know how cool you are when you play that heavy Metal stuff...

Lemmy:
we play rocknroll

Gary:
whatver...besides that..you try too hard at it and looks made up...like your just trying to look the part..

Lemmy:
Well Gary..lets start at the top...i like helmets alot..not soo much those plastic foam things these guys wear..but i know a cranium cover when i see it..more metal spiky and red and grey

Gary:
Lemmy...a helmet has to fit properly...you guys ridn around with them all tilted back, crooked...etc..Everyone has a different shape head it has to drop in on your dome and not rattle around pressure points aside...id rather see one too small on a guy than one that looks like he is wearing pickle  a bucket...if your going to match it to your clothing it has to match dead nuts..not close..dead on..that why i myself prefer a solid color dome..but those are almost impossible to find..Im not a huge fan of the Aero advantage thats going on out there right now either...but i get it and i am not opposed to those that do..and for frickin crying out loud..if its older than 3 years do your ridin buddies a favor buy a new helmet..the smell is more intense than those see through shorts your nursing...

Lemmy:
give me your list of your least favorites.....

That Smith lid thats out there right now..the only way i can dig on that thing is in solid matte black..or maybe on the free ride enduro types, but in the the dope riddled skinny set..nope..at worst it looks like something from the snow scene in the the empire strikes you back...

The Bontrager aero lid..a cheap Specialized rip off..

Specialized Evade..lousy fit

Poc Optical: see above

Anything from Bell..the aero lid comes close but still falls short in my opinion

Any Time trial helmet zero adjustable terribly uncomfortable..but then i suppose anything on your body at 180 heart feels like shit...

That Briko aero lid..holy cow Lemmy it  looks like the Lego co combined forces with some wino fueled italian porn star to come up with that piece of shit......chuncky and smooth all the same...........about as bad as there eye-wear..

The original Giro aero lid that came out  few years back..if that aint a copy of that protec helmet of the gay 80s i dunno what is.maybe its that stupid anti sunglasses windshield..didnt they make eyewear once???.i hope it fits better than that one did as i had to wear that sucker when i got my ass handed to me on the battle of the network stars..made matter worse it was a chick that dropped my butt......

Any Catlike helmet..now if there ever was a brand that would beneifit from the The Reebok pump idea this is it..i have never scene one that looked like it fit just right...

The Vittoris VH-IKON..looks good until someone puts it on there head..

Lemmy:
 your favorites...

Anything from Met: they nail it hardcore on all there stuff..soo cool The US market can not even accept it..

Kasks: good colors proper ventilation and i have not tried one on but i hear the fit is pretty spif.

Gary:
Ok lemmy since i took the helmets....and your probably the only guy i know that can rock daisy dukes....keeping colors and team kits out of the equation for now.....then whats your opinion on lets just say skinsuits..the cycling attire that is worn for speed, comfort and often out of style..

Lemmy:
to be flat faced honest Gary...The skinsuit is the domain of the fit 20 year old, the exhibitionist, the dude looking for every advantage or some combination of above..2 things..they can make even the most race fit dude look horrible and they are not meant to be worn as a compression garment...If you are willing to potentially look less fit than you actually are and not wearing it as a means of compressing your fat ass then you can wear a skinsuit
perfectly polity....... do not wear one if your fat..not lard ass fat...... but in race fit

Gary: insanely put..if your racing just to finish or ride as pack fill save face and dont cram your posing self into one.....seriously there aint nothing convenient or comfortable about battling yourself into a second skin all for the sake of a game...its a battle of wits half the time between poppin pins and rippin zippers save that sword for when your really going chop dudes heads off.  when you need that extra 4 % of whatvere drives you.....dont show all your cards every time you step into the ring...not sittin in or trying not to get dropped

a skinsuit is not gonna save your ass..

colors and patterns...next week...
remember...

We play rock and Roll...

see ya next!

If an erection last longer than 12 weeks pre register for any event you can get to

Straight up cant have a race o champions with out proper playing fields..and since most of the miscene folks fancy themselves as all around bike riders..it only seems befitting that we have a multiple discipline of sorts..since we were advised to a gravel road race into the fold...making a total number ROC events to six...lets make it a 6 months series one race a month so it doesn't interfere with other folks "peak" events...

Stoney Creek
1 lap around  metro park drop a rider from your squad and points will be deducted..

Crit:
lets go back old school on this one..since most of the youngins never did this one...Rockford..8 corners of out right misery..anyone that is still turning em here knows the pain of that hill..im sure some OG dudes are still feeling the gas pedal effects of when Sheedy and the Howard bros punished them in it final edition..or going way back when crazy jacked to the Gils Obee rode like terminator  originally T was looking at going only an hour..but the dynamics after 70 minutes swing to the fit riders..guaranteed we will pull riders as lapping will occur within 30 min..

Road Race..
everyone is gonna have to make the drive back up to the peninsula..Back in the day we had this thing called Tour de Leelanau it was hard as fuck..a race not made for fat guys...or muscle headed field sprinters....the course was selective enough to make it a real road race that didnt end in a 40 mph downhill bunch sprint..The last year it was a big deal..and few Michigan riders actually made the time cut....bring your mussett bags..team cars wives kids girlfriends..etc.... this is gonna be one badass day in the saddle..and since everyone loves to ride big rides this is the full on old NRC length 200K..KOM, Sprinters segments best young/old rider points are on the line...

Mountainbike TT:
lets be fair and make it one lap..not a Island lake ride your MTB road bike style all locked out..bonus strava GC points are gonna be marked in areas of the course..Pontiac lake seems to be a fair test for the scene

Cyclocross 1 lap hot lap...
Camp Dearborn...great place for a cross race lotsa terrain changes, sand pavement...and some really cool stairs...everyone loves cross right,,,at least for that first lap...lets bust a hot lap...but not out of the gun...no no no that would be too frickin easy..how about a 30 min traditional cross race..then a 1 lap hottie..riders call up via  there current ranking in the overall ROC GC..point will be awared on strava like segments of the course ( fastest through the barriers across the beach the big stair run etc)

Gravel Growler:
Lets go back to Rhonde Stoney....good race gone way too soon...easy parking,  cool dirt roads, the cart paths keep the distance realistic..strava segments, and sprint points will be awarded....

next up the teams and or equipment ....this one is gonna be fun,,,hint: equate it to fantasy football

passionately your forever
T

Radder than you will ever live to be...

 Han Solo before Han Solo:

Tamara Dobson from Cleopatra Jones 1973

The start of the Gran Premio de España at Jarama, 1974. Niki Lauda in the #12 Ferrari 312B3 leads the pack after having secured pole position. This became Mr. Lauda’s first Grand Prix win, and made the first 1-2 finish for Scuderia Ferrari that season.
