Gary well ya know some are saying your burned out and cant do this whole thing, summers gettin to ya.
MRT just cuz a man is not jibber jabberin every other day or showin his mug doesn't mean he is layin down.
Gary: I gotta admit T.... i was get tin worried.
MRT: listen little buddie i have been there watchin, lookin, and observing, touchin and tastin.. the stuff fumbling around lately, so i can speak when its time.
Gary: well is time? or should i go back dropping bombs
MRT: well since you drug me away from Atlanta, ill rifle off a few quickies that have been on T's brain. The one thing that kills me is how fast we all seem as humans seem to do is under estimate how fast father time can creep on ya. I look around everyday, i see it i hear it folks sayin back when i was, or she used to be, or i just bought this..That was 10 god dam years ago..I know where always busy but grasp hold of yourself and do a inner reality check. Time is inevitable but that doesnt mean you minds gotta go with it, or your body.
Gary: whats that have to do with anyone or anything around us.
MRT: You see last week we had some of the elder states men of our scene roll south to a USA cycling masters national championship, in Lu ville and well they made t proud.
Gary: what ch talkin about?
MRT: Gary although this whole thing ive been tryin to handle has its young bucks popping up its still mainly mans world, i aint sayin we has old men control No sir but something has to be said about being craft, wise and down smart.

MRT: I'm glad you asked....Guys like the Black Ace comin home with Silver in the mens 45 road race, and just off the box in the TT. The 3time roadking catchin some Bronze in the 30-34 crit action. The leathery Karwantsome with 6th in the 60+,TT and 4th in the RR and crit dam!! And how about Bissells version of Jack Lemmon Jason Swiatlowski hittin 4th in in the crit. I cant leave out SilentD and DWITTE from Bissells masters squad. I know of a few others that toed the line too. also makin us good. you see i like guys who continue to press father time back alittle. kinda makes me feel good about what i do. You gotta admit i look pretty dam good for T age.
Gary: I know T but what about that spot you didn't get in the movie?
MRT: Gary I ain't say in these cats from Michigan are looking for a go at the big time..but that doesnt mean you cant go for medal in your own right. look at the Black ace, as well as a select other few, when that big time crit rolled in a few weeks back there was some solid scene masters in the show.
Gary: i see what your point. do the right things and you can keep father time at bay.
MRT No one says you have to monk it. but it needs to be on your mind, but not on your brain, dont let rule your life but rather let you rule it.
Gary: come on T its a hard balance for some you make sound easy.
MRT: i know, i tend to that..Balance is what its all about right, at least thats what some say..I hear the talk, T aint got no balance..but they all don't realize is i gotta Lotta balance. I understand you cant be awesome everything, day in day out. Its also goe's right along with the word we as humans have seem to disregard in our vocab, called patience.
GARY: patience? your right .I hear that was eliminated from Websters about 12 yrs ago...its a shame.
MRT: well Gary its still in T's dictionary..just like life im willing to be patient..until its time.. some of the best stuff in our scene is yet to come..
Gary: you nailed it!..But i have been patient long enough and i gotta pipe out somethin about a guy that makes smile.

Gary: we been talkin all this old man stuff and ten speed bikes, But you know what drives me? how about that guy Timmy Finkel, ridin a bike 700+ miles with one speed! and that other one that im ashamed you let slip through your agin mind Robert Herriman .Ya know I like they way these guys roll. Its stories like theres that make me want to keep turnin the pedals. Ya do know T i think the word FUN was also eliminated out of The D book about the same time, for some scneres.
MRT: i gotta agree with you, its been on my mind as well. But you see, I got the Atlanta people ringin my bell and well ya know i cant keep them waiting. you can sure bet im gonna address the FUN word shortly. Ill leave you with this. you need to think of your definition of fun..
