Sometimes you start with a dream
Sometimes you start with a vision
Sometimes you start with a goal
Sometimes you start without knowing why...
Sometimes you start with an ending in mind

Something to think about  it or not..

Picture the above image and you use your imagination..
your sitting in empty cooler than normal theater..
your the only one..
i dunno maybe a few other folks showed up..
you sit and wait..
wait a lil while longer..

a few more folks show up..
ever so slowly..

about less then half of the seats are filled...

then old creepy Ts head appears floating over the whole shit show..

like Oz or that scary ass video game from the 80s Sinistar...

It was a dream T had..and reminded me of the scene...
somewhere along a parallel universe..the two have distinct characteristics...

Its December CX..and for most the the real racin cept for the dome..has come to close..

before i go into my banter..

I know none of the fine folks that thanklessly put on and promoted the CX series even read this or would be known dead to utter this blog..

but

Thank you!
Thanks for keepin the scene alive another fall..
We did find interesting that after we ran the numbers since Alma the average overall attendance did not drop as significantly as we thought...

The Whole fall in general went by soo gol darn quick
Kisscross kept a regular series alive
With huge anticaption of some great battles...Scotty Pulled the plug early
Monring Cranks kept it fun
Chad Wells won Bloomer
The Detroit invitational saw some shitty kid hit the Pony with a snowball while he was racing
at least it wasnt a 9mm
The Gooch sought the truth and gained travel miles along the way
The Black Ace stayed clear of the scne
The Barriers looked like they shrunk when that Judah kid was around..
Dan Yankus
Brad White briefly led the Roadking and that Vanderslagmoreland kid a few weeks back
The Fort race never even was mentioned....
That Junge guy raced all the hard shit and if it sinks he will be better for it
The Alma GP set the bar for a solid race and promotion from a good guy that knows cross
Not sure about the barriers in the tent thing tho...
Massey called the shots at Bloomer
The AAVC giving folks an alternative to driving across state
Uberti making short appearances around the scene taking two wins..before going away

As far the State Championship goes...

Looking at the days events..
course was dialed..
awesome food truck...
that guy from  Dearborn announcing
I knew that Base media gal was on good form..and was that the original cup she was yielding..??
DAM!!

Yo....Benny Cooke..nice ride!

The Masters men..35 plus was no surprise and lacked shine of years past 3 or 4 guys...ouch but what the heck right?

How about former ICEAMN winner..GoodTime Johnny Meyers..coming in at the 11th hour and taking down Gietzen...

Masters 45+ the race of the race..cept for that other race..
Harrville nailed it from the gun stringing them out..somewhere along the line........

The Pony stopped racing

and the guy who is so fuckin radically comfortable in his own skin..Simon Bailey came from a late start and turned the wick up and made it two in the row....Harville second......Walcharz capitalized on being the next in line..and swung at a trio of Gooch..Osgood, and Crossfit..to come in 3 rd..

Just off the podium...

Gooch
He lobbed the big salt encrusted sweaty medicine ball on to Osgood and then it bounced....and bounced..

and bounced ...
and after 3 long months of having the jock of  the CrossFit guy rubbed in his face..
that ball took that geek out..

Wonder how the outcome woulda been had they let Timmy sign up after missin the sign up window...?

Elite men
Id be a fools fool if said..there wasnt large chunk of T wanting Timmy to get the cup...I really didnt think it was that tall of an order..
i mean Timmy can ride a bike and cross has been primarily  his thing,...

But man the guy we coined years ago the Roadking..kept that cup again..
he now for sure has more state titles than anyone in the state

the guy is hard to kill..
Letting Timmy ride the first lap..and then later turn the throttle up just enough to win by a comfortable margin of nearly a minute...

We were a tad weepy inside to see that most of the guys that were around back in early fall never even tossed there hats into the ring...

We are really perturbed at the size of the field..it was like something was missing from the big show..missing from the whole show..maybe it was no heated rivals..no Mark Wolowiec..no Scotty..no bunny hops....no Lakos..just missing something..
Man T do love his cross thing though..
Hopefully TMS will be around come next next September ..

Peace Love and respect
from the  most hated place on the internet...

T
