1. Closed course. Ok sounds great! No curbs to contend with etc

2. Varied surface, but mostly gravel. Reasonable

3. Nothing funny or ridiculous, IE 180 degree turns, parking lot curbs to bunny hop!

4. Wheel pit?  great idea, better make it huge cuz gravel racers have a plethora of tire choices

5. No single track, no brainer.. But I just thought I’d remind you!

6. No sand. See above!

7. No dismounting. Remember, cyclocross doesn’t start until September!

8. 8:30am 16 Mile: solo pace: 16mph; group pace: 17.5mph perfect CAT 3 level distance

9. 9:30am 24 Mile: solo pace: 17mph; group pace: 19mph..aveg speed aside, this distance is solid. Good start for the Jesses, Dans, and Drew’s

10. 11:00am 36.8 Mile

solo pace: 20mph; group pace: 22mph..nearly a 40 mile crit,

dumber than a two lap mountain bike time trial!

11. Keep it short concise, no one wants to be out there all day.

12 Don’t forget the primes, beer is fine. But crits are more fun when there are dead presidents on the line. Or in this case, anti bacterial spray, Teggerderme Second skin.

13. Field limits would be nice for your first rodeo

14. On site medical services is probably a wise idea

15. I’m TMS and I love crits, and might have sit this one out until they get it figured out!
