Rudy. Gee Tripper, did you see that new gravel race?
Tripper, no rabbit I didn’t, it’s not easy trying to keep up with that scene. Heck forget half of the time there is actually one nearly every weekend. So what’s going on now?
Rudy, Well I can’t fault you for not knowing, the promotion has been less than my threshold wattage, and me being a social media kinda kid. It’s algorithm is nearly no existent in my feed. Anyway it’s being held in Irish Hills, a great place for a race of its kind, and it’s got the backing of the Michiganscene face of gravel elite.
Tripper.nope nevertheless never heard of it. That’s too bad, despite that lack of actual promotion it looks like a dandy. You know Rabbit I got my opinions and theories why events that get boasted as the next big thing, rarely live up to their expectations and or turnouts.
Rudy. Really why is this?
Tripper, history has proven itself, it’s kinda like phrase, “ art is the thing nobody asked you to do” rarely can boast epic before it’s epic. Epic is a word thrown around more than love itself. The people decide what’s epic not the promoters, or in this case lack of there of..
Rudy, wow, that’s crazy I never thought of it that way. I’m intrigued, give me an example?
Tripper, oh rabbit I can give 15 examples…but not tonight…this week!
Rudy, before Friday?
Tripper, maybe rabbit..
