yea, you can say all you want about the shitty course on Cadieux, the Hypo needles in the parking lots, the neighborHOOD, etc.. but the tradition is gone..Im a bit sad, My first ever crit was there..anyone else want share there war stories?
Give it 2 years and it will be like a badge of courage to say "I raced on the old course!"
I won't miss the gravel and potholes in turns #3 & #4, OUCH!
I very interested in checking out this Palace course. I've heard that despite what you might think about it being in a parking lot, that it's pretty cool!
I gonna miss it just for the flavor, I got beer from some salty old dude, after i won 2 primes in a cat 4 race, as far as the course goes? ITs time to move on. The-metal-empire
I remember Rippn Ronald rippin everyone a "new one" on the first corner of the last lap back in '04. Ahhh, the sound of metal on concrete, flesh ripping from bodies...I too will miss the after-race beer and burger!
What is the word on the new course, I can't even begin to picture it...
Scott Robb would take anybody to the line; regardless of what race and who he was spinting against. You didn't want him on your wheel in the last corner.
I got a homemade postcard from him a few years ago. He was working as a messenger in NYC. Haven't heard from him since. I see his brother around once in a while. I heard he just got married.
Long live the SRFC! He was da man! I hope they do not have that Palace race next year. Someone should put up a permanent site for the Cadieux race and try and get it back.
My friends. My brother Scott passed away on July 2, 2007. I can't tell you how much it hurts. He loved bike racing and the whole sceneso much. What I can tell you is how much racing and cycling meant to him. this may be a surprise, but I am typing on his computer and I found this page because it was saved in his favorites (probably because he was mentioned in it and he loved the old Cadieux course). He died of a heart attack. What I find comforting is the support that I have found in Our community - the nice eulogy from Ray Dybowski at Ciociaro, the nice things I've heard from Danny Klein and others. My family really appreciates the kind sentiments and finds comfort in them. Thank you, and please keep Scott in your thoughts as you hammer on.

Not me. OL Super Dave made me alittle shy of the last 2 corners in years past.
