That was an EPIC day!! First time in my life that I thought I could possibly die on a cyclcross course.
People were running for their lives. It was right out of a Orson Welles novel. Less we forget...And pictures will never tell the story

I think the proper grammar would be "Lest we forget".

"Less we forget" just sounds like, well, we forgot less than we did from the last race.

Hmmm.... when I put it that way, it does sound kind of correct...

And actually, after racing Stoney Creek the week before in 20F, blowing wind and 6" of snow, I think I do understand what RI was like.

What I don't understand is people lining up at the 2005 CX Natz race with nothing on their ears, with knee warmers instead of LEG WARMERS, with light gloves instead of full on SKI GLOVES (like I used at Stoney) with jersey/arm warmers, rather than jackets.... you get my drift.
