This edition of bikes of your friends comes from the The Trek Rep himself Jay Moncel, Jay has been on around our scene for years and was regular on the MTB circuit , and as of late the road. It looks though now cross is his big love, he even has a blog dedicated to it, www.sufferingincyclocross.blogspot.com, check it out its worth the look. But now his bike... of all the bikes that have been featured here This one is my personal fav. dont be surprised to see another one of these roll up on the grass real soon, and his tricked out perfect i wouldnt change a thing. Notes of intrest are the carbon wheels, it looks as though carbon in the hoops are now becoming norm on alot of crossbikes as well as the single ring set up. The Bontrager fork resembles the Wound Up unit on last weeks bikes of Foshag's, One question Jay i didnt ask you Why isnt this frame stock? how does it differ from floor models?My highly modified 2007 XO

i have to apologize, i was refering to the entire bike not being stock. the frame is exactly the same as what you can buy in the store. please see also the the most recent post on dougswanson.blogspot.com. he does a nice detailed post of his totally tricked out X0. both tristan and doug are tearing it up on the less than glamorous alu frames. teazer - carbon cross frame for 08?
