What? Where? How?
This site better come back with a lot more Flash! We want Flash!
the major crashing in all cats was a tad scary, you could tell alotta people are gettin tired, or there crit skill were rusty from some soooooo many weeks of no racing. YIKES!
I hear Rivera hit it pretty hard in the L/R trying to bridge to Tom Burke. Odd, since Bruce is one of the best bike handlers on the east side of the state.
"I hear Rivera hit it pretty hard in the L/R trying to bridge to Tom Burke. Odd, since Bruce is one of the best bike handlers on the east side of the state."
THUS CONFIRMING THAT THE BEST BIKE HANDLERS ON THE EAST SIDE CAN'T HANG WITH SOME OF THE LESSER HANDLERS ON THE WEST SIDE, AND FURTHER REINFORCING WESTERNERS SUPERIORITY...
I was thinking Master old dudes! What about that old man Mike always making everyone look silly. Winning ADAD solo. He rocked cry baby Luke last year at BTR and Luke had to drop from the break. I think Luke threw his bike across the parking lot... Of course it wasn't Luke's fault!!!!!! It was the west coast power!
There were actually at least four crashes in the Cat. 3 race. Two on the last lap, one right next to me on the last turn. The course was fun but it just wasn't selective, if that bump of a hill was a little longer that would be great.
In the P/1/2, 2 break aways, one lapped the fieled, fractions of riders finishing, guys getting dropped in the first laps, and guys finishing with large gaps between them. Impressive. Plus Rivera washing out in the chicane makes for one of the few crashes in the P/1/2 all season.
It wasn't rockford, but no mistaking it: the course was selective.
Sometimes selectivity is in the strength of the race, not necessarily the course. But if you were sitting at the back, you were gonna get gapped.
How about that sweet registration process at the Ada Crit! Scan your license and sign your name. That way I will never again be known as "Scoot Krochy of the Wilvornes"
I have to agree with you Kroske. I worked registration until 1:30- ish and it was relatively easy. It also seemed to streamline things during registration.
Ada: the course and the racers made it very selective - way more selective than the old sprint finish course with 100% of the field still there. I mean cummon there was 30% droppage in most races. The 1-2 was blown up in the first 20 minutes. Even some fast guys who started to far back got shelled. And its a bike handlers course. Some mean ol dudes with moderate fitness but good corners could grab some time on the young strong guys there. Great Course!
For the guy complaining about the "bump", lets get the ada guys to try to make that hill longer next year, huh? gimme a break. I mean it is a crit not a hill climb.
We're planning to go back to separate 4s and 5s next year, like our first 6 years...various constraints led us to combine 'em this year. If we'd known we were going to be the state crit, we wouldn't have put 'em together, but who knew? Problem in that race was newbies trying to go 4 and 5 abreast through the chicane...higher categories knew to do it no more than 2 abreast...
"the M16 is by far the more superior weapon. It's lighter, more accurate, more versatile, and with proper maintenance it is very reliable. Indeed, it might be less sand proof then the Galil/AK47 series. However, all you need is to clean it once a day and it will work properly. Since modern armies clean their smallarms on a daily even during combat deployment this is a non-issue.
In fact, most of the myth regarding the M16 unreliability date back to the Vietnam War when the M16 was first issued. The 5.56 ammunition given then to the troops used a low quality sticky powder that caused massive buildup of dirt in the M16 mechanism and eventually to jamming problems. When the ammunition was changed, the misfire problems disappeared as well."
oh now we have sheet talk goin on uh? well let me get my sheeit talk cap on and ill return with my dose. but for now ill take a stab at any HONKY MOFO"S dat get in my wAy
murder city baby. murder city baby. murder city baby. murder city baby. murder city baby. murder city baby. murder city baby. murder city baby. murder city baby. murder city baby. murder city baby. murder city baby. murder city baby. murder city baby. murder city baby. murder city baby.

No smashing of honky's. A death march to the finish line for the rest of the year. Stragglers beware. Killers at the forefront. That hill at ada was not exclusive as should be for a state champ race. take it back to Dexter where real champions win!!! The priority crits=awesome. Daebatos thingy ok. Bissell squad? Damn, WTF!!! sweet.
Champions win on any course! ADA, Dexter.... When was the last time you won on Erie Street? No selective hill there...... But winners of Dexter have won on Erie street.
Once again CHAMPIONS WIN ON ANY COURSE and are more than happy to give mad props to all the people that work hard to put on a race to give CHAMPIONS a place to show there stuff.
Are you a CHAMPION? Are you putting together races? Or are you pack filler bitching about how you should have won?
No, for real IM HOPING NO ONE IS THINKING THERE GONNA TAKE WHAT HAVE AWAY, AS IM FIXIN TO SHOOT SOMEONE AS IM FO REAL DO. LABOR WEEKEND IS MY WEEKNEND, HAS BEEN, ALWAYS WILL BE. IM NOT GONNA NAME NAMES BUT LETS JUST SAY WE GONNA GET ON FO 3 DAYS STRAIGHT, NO BS JEST DA FACTS. now lets stop all this idle chit chat and get down. and oh fucked dat cross bs, as cross is cross when the gun go off we still got some pavement racin to do folks, dem da same bitches that will be talkin spring trainin in dec. im outta here ya'll
I love all of this anonymous shit talk...I would like to know why everyone seems to make comments like they are straight from the hood. If I race Labor Day weekend I won't be slapping any hoes or dropping anyone, I'll be the guy riding in the small chain ring and sucking wheels cause that's how I roll.
Congrats to Wolverine Tim Finkel for winning the solo 24 Hours of Albion - Hot Summer Nights with a new course record (23 laps)... jeez what a Rock Star.
1000 + starters, kicking but on a bunch of Canadians, setting a course record, beating seasoned 24 hr riders in your first 24 hr event and pulling off a "W". Mad props to Finkel! This buds for you!

Or maybe he is just on vacation....
i hope its not too long..
lets start a thread on last weekends crits.
Ada Crit: Did Derek gram win? it looked real close.
Other Cat reports?
sounds like combining 4 & 5 was grisly...
How about a hundred kids in the kids race? sweet. maybe MI cycling does have a future, if we can keep them out of football camp.
good i dea lets throw tms some love as they deserve it. Lets post up some reports while we wait for tms to catch there breath, we owe it to em!
Ada Crit, Fast, faster, fastest. My download showed 44.6 kph (27.71 mph) for the first 30 minutes....... WHO WAS DRIVING THE TRAIN.......
rest up tms, cross is comin!
hurry back BIOTCH!
Yeah, who's bright idea was it to toss the fours and fives together?

For the 1-2 race? Not too shabby! The masters 30 race was quick too I hear.
the "new" course is a lot more fun than the old one. takes more skills though, which a 4-5 field didnt have
man why ya baggin on us 4/5 ers? we aint all that bad.
Only two crashes in the Cat 3's, both only took out single riders who caused the crash themselves.
Were there any crashes in the P1/2's?
IMHO, the new course is awesome!!!!
I hear Rivera hit it pretty hard in the L/R trying to bridge to Tom Burke. Odd, since Bruce is one of the best bike handlers on the east side of the state.

CROSS CROSS CROSS CROSS CROSS CROSS!
Cross = cold & winter.... I ain't ready! Road, Road, Road! Besides, unles you can beat him you'll only be the Ace's Biotch!

not to bag, but throw in a couple nervous 5's and the whole thing gets messy...
kinda like master 35+
West side power, East side speed! It's all good! They both win races.
Bring out the GIMP......
I was thinking Master old dudes! What about that old man Mike always making everyone look silly. Winning ADAD solo. He rocked cry baby Luke last year at BTR and Luke had to drop from the break. oh ok great, cross is merely a spark on the horizon and the shit talk us startin, PLEAAZE lets not scare tms off again this year with it.

I was in that 4/5 race, there were a lot of nervous 5's. Should be separate for next year.
Yeah, all those great 4's should ride with the 3's....
Oh, who would be bi$%#ing then. The Pro's probably think the same way when the 2's line up.

I heard there is some really good team like Outback steak house coming to the races. They are really old and fast.
oops my bad it is the other chain texas roadhouse. It would be call if outback had a team. Probably would be a bunch of fast Aussie sprinters.
