Rock

Because sometimes T knows you all need a break from all the bad grammar, the smokey coconut  scented strip clubs , and anorexic super models......We decided to farm this summers road power rankings out to a random scener and let them obses over the numbers..

Team power rankings

 1) Bissel
Strengths: These dudes are straight up killers. They have a plan going in, they implement the plan during the race and they roll away with a victory. It's easy to make this strategy work when you have the strongest dudes - which they do - but plenty of teams in a similar situation do not get it done. Weaknesses: it appears that their sponsor's product sucked the smiles right off of their faces. Lighten up dudes. It's ok to be friendly to other racers. Also, there are sometimes races on the East side of the State. Why don't you give them a try. Power Ranking @ 5.4 w/kg

 2) EPS
Strengths: These guys just keep attacking and coming at you. Just when you think you have them under control another one rolls off the front. They are led by one of the cagiest dudes out there in Swiatlowski, Like Highlander he keeps them in line with a firm bark and a short leash.
Weaknesses: they have to keep attacking and rolling off of the front because they do not have a legit sprinter within their ranks. Power Ranking @ 4.8 w/kg

 3) OAM Now
Strengths: The best thing this group has going for itself is that it puts racers in just about every race, and category out there.
Weaknesses: their race tactics are often futile and predictable. They have one of the fastest finishers in the bunch, and some serious engines Vanias Pete E. etc.. these guys could keep the pack strung out for a few laps, but have you ever seen a full gas lead out from these guys? nope Yankus has flashes of greatness now and then and the MBRA for something overall winner  Stange looked tired most of the season and found it is really hard to have two break out years in a row. Snyder was grey to say the least Power Ranking @ 4.2 w/kg

 4) O2 / Cadiuex
Strengths: this group if fronted by a handful of old school masters racers, but their main strength is that they have one of the largest groups of dudes racing the lower categories. Within that group there are 2 or 3 with serious engines and potential.
Weaknesses: their comparative inexperience leads them to being easily misled on proper race etiquette. Waterford became a virtual shit show this summer as they stacked the field with 15 dudes in a 45 person race. It appeared that their go to move became to send 2 guys up the road, and then plant 10 dudes near the front to muck it up. Power Ranking @ 3.9 w/kg

 5) Jack's Bikes
Strengths: these old dudes have been pedaling since the beginning of time. They have seen it all, and they pray upon the weak. If you are foolish enough to let the race stay together there are 2 of these old bastards who will make you pay in the sprint.
Weaknesses: with the early season disappearance of SB they were left a little short handed and under horse powered. Power Ranking @ 4.5 w/kg

 6) Ann Arbor Velo
Club Strengths: this is another group that has a lot going on in the lower categories. They appear to have some solid focus, and the potential to move some riders up through the categories. If the entire Michigan season was constructed around gnarly road races Huy would be a consistent top 10 rider. Weaknesses: Inexperience. These dudes get worked over whenever their relative youth gets matched up against veteran racers. Power Ranking @ 3.7 w/kg

 7) Wolverines
Strengths: really the only thing this group has going for it is its rich history. Well, it is still good to see Big Ray rolling out there all day long. Weaknesses: The major 2 weaknesses are the loss of Sven and the disappearance of Randy. That Max kid made the jump..but being fly weight with almost no real strength in any area hasn't made him a stand out hes got guts but the jump to the next level is not as easy as the one before ...Power Ranking @ 3.5 w/kg

 8) Fraker group
Strengths: this 1 man show is a full feature picture. Hoffner can do it all, and excels at every discipline - except possibly being tweaked out by lots of corners. Weaknesses: as strong as he is, and with potential to dominate most events, he often disappears for extended stretches or even possibly even spreads himself out too thin. Its really hard to be great at everything..and that's cool to be good at most.. but to make it to the next level is left only for the freaks and dopers..   Power Ranking@ 5.0 w/kg

9) Lathrup..
Strengths experience like the complete throw back team! everyone who had good legs has almost been on this squad, strong and smart enough to win @ 1 hr
Weakness:  if the clock pushes towards 1.5 its lights out half the time. Alan Z has a wicked jump, and Docsavage runs better than anyone on limited hours..and well They say the eagle is coming back  If Waterford-worlds was the barometer of wattage this group would be farther up on the charts.Power Ranking@ 3.1 w/kg

10) CFT/San Dimas. Strengths: They seem to be fairly smart, although when he lived here Jay was a tad too chatty in tight corners.
weakness at the 1 /2 level they lacked solid horsepower more of a good masters squad. Power Ranking@ 3.6 w/kg

11)  the one offs
Strenghts:  solo..the lone wolf...the bike swingers, the wheel suckers, the mouths..the gap bridges, sprinters..they come sometimes in singles but often in twos..every race has em some hide some don't..made of all shapes and sizes.. but you would have to agree riding solo has its can be cool...experience and lack of team commitments is a strong has huge benefits
Weakness: the weaker ones can not cover every attack and often miss wins due to wasted energy  Power Ranking @ 4.8 w/kg
