Yep, saw the date of April 30 and knew that not only would I not be heading there, but skipping AA STS as well. Why not take the smaller fields and make them smaller by putting multiple races on the same day? If we have enough races on the same day everyone can podium!

who ever does shit like that is basically fucking themselves in the long run.

And if its a USAC sanctioned event USAC should be at fault for allowing it.

Base media dudes - the sport needs a few things - new riders and more races being 2 of them. We know you have lots of newer riders on your roster so that's good. What is not good is you putting on an event that directly conflicts with another event. I am glad you are moving things forward from barnstorming belle Isle in the winter, but you are essentially turning your head and taking a dump on a 30 year old series, and everyone who had supported it. I'm not up to speed with the info so maybe the 30th was the only date you could get your tires on the track. If that is the case you could maybe take another approach and host an open ride out there. Promote it as a come meet the team and ride the new track type of thing. That would be sweet and bring everyone together versus attempting to divide everyone. And I am not going to listen to arguments about how Ann Arbor is too far

Looks like it is being run through BikeReg and it does not appear to be a USAC sponsored deal. Poor from guys.
