Bike Of The Week

I hinted about this rig a few weeks back...

I wanna keep this shit short and sweet and just nip on why im picking this one as bike of the week...

Its probably fair to say few remember when..

when this paint scheme pretty much ruled the world of mountain bike racing..thinking back there was a solid team here in the scene all on matching blue/yellow F2000s..hard to belive we are already seeing retro in inspired bikes in the world of mountain bikes..i know i know this isnt the first..

but this one is way over the top i dunno if im in love with it for the retro looks or the ride itslef..

what draws me to this bike is....

• The  tires..tan sidewalls a refreshing change to the world dominated by black
• yellow grips..ok so they are gonna like like spilled fuck by the end of the day at DTE but they still look better than black..and besides if you bought this bike chances are you got enuf grip to have a change of pair for race days..
• The Crankset anything 1 by is fuckin kick ass lookin but these arms are full Y2k compliant 
• the seat looks like a flite saddle although tough on the sack they were and are quite possibly the best looking seats ever made 
• A set of Mavic wheels with some yellow in there somewhere may of brought it up a few notches higher on my lift off list

all in all im drinking two pints to this ride right now...
