“…it was probably the most bizarre trial in English legal history. The T-shirt with the two cowboys on it was produced as evidence. The prosecution alleged that the cowboys’ penises were touching. The defence lawyer leapt up and said, ‘No, my lord, they’re not touching.’ Somebody went and got a ruler to measure the distance between the cowboys’ dicks. It was all very strange.”
