I wasn’t around during the lance wave, sounded like a great time to racing bikes in Michigan.

But when I look at this list and think, “damn I could race my fat bike, gravel bike, road bike and mountain bike in a given 30 days (mid March through mid April) How rad is that? Yeah the turnouts won’t be in the thousands for every event, but it’s hard to knock it when an event promoter has to share a day with another event.

We can’t forget the cool events around the Midwest that will pull Michigan’s racers out to try their hand against stiff competition and big turnouts. That’s cool too.

Enjoy the events that you want to support, buy those brake pads from the local shop, race with people you love, or you hate, but just have a damn good time because we’re all fortunate enough to do so.

T, this was a great write up. I’m excited for 2020
