looking over this idea too, seemed odd, as you can tell it was made up by cyclist as the riding portion is much longer than any other tri i have looked into.
I like when the the Host have a small debate on what bike might be the best choice. They left out comfort bikes with Topeak baby racks, 80s Fujis and 90s Trek 830s
