Although this rotten old Bastard isnt in need of a new whip or if he was ..this old fucker doesn't even have the grip to even give it a second thought. But that don't mean a man cant dream right...In world gone quite mad..you gotta admit its the bicycle industry. When some shops are lucky to even have bikes, and others are selling tubes at twice the fair market price as last year..you know the shit aint good...
One of my favorite spots in the wide and wooly world of social media is the used stuff marketplace...and i just couldnt resist a quick glance at few gems id lay my hard earned rocknroll bucks down on this past week..............
I might sell my Spur before I leave for Tucson.
I can get another one later. This is truly a one bike quiver for Michigan. I just am going back to SS, and getting into Enduro so need an Enduro bike. This bike will make you the talk of the group ride, and set KOMs up or down. I'll get some better pics when I get back from traveling later today. Just wanted to get a feeler going.
It has a couple scratches on the inside of chainstay where the rotor hit the frame when I was putting the back wheel in. It's layered in clear frame tape and has zero damage.
Build -
- Transition Spur Large- Under 400 miles
- Cane Creek Helm Works 120. This fork is brand new and uncut and will let you get the bike setup for you. I ran an extremely slammed SID Ultimate. I'm keeping that.
- SLX 12speed complete drivetrain. Under 400 miles
- SLX 7000 brakes
- One up V2 150mm dropper w/wolftooth remote
- Truvativ carbon bars 720mm
- Syntace 75mm stem
- Dt Swiss wheels. Xm421/DT350 hubs
- That's a basic ad for now. This bike is sold out till February at the earliest.
Now's your chance..................
- 17.5" frame
- 26*2.15 tires
- 1*9 Microshift advent
- Canti brakes
- Simple bike, good for customizing, lolligagging, getting groceries & turning heads. Doesn't go as fast as a road bike, and doesn't handle as well as a mountain bike, but it's pretty good for those times u just need a bicycle. I would rather sell it cheap to someone who will ride & admire it. Let me know what your best offer would be & we will talk.
- Comes as is in first picture, the rest are just how I had it set up when I was riding it alot.
- 54 frame size, 50 mm carbon tubulars with Clement MXP tires, Shimano Ultegra 10 speed shifters and rear derailleur, 105 front derailleur, FSA crank 145 crank arms, 3T stem and bars, Tektro brakes, SLR seat that shows wear.
- $800 OBO
- first red flag is the description...or lack of...and gears..wheres the gears????
- The second red flag..is the price? seems like a kinda fire sale...
- and
- third..is the all the shit in the background...kinda creepy....
- my game plan on the transaction of this set up...first meet up in a safe well lit area...second ..low ball the fuc outta them cuz i believe they will take whatever they can get for it...
