Make USA Cycling accountable to its members.

We have no agenda outside of the hope that the current leadership at USA Cycling will take a hard look at themselves and understand they are not serving the needs of their key stakeholders that include members, staff, officials, and athletes. As a non-profit, who do they serve if not these key stakeholders?

Our Declaration

We declare that it is possible to create a USA Cycling that is fair and transparent to all its members and staff, regardless of gender, race, or income status.

We declare this new USA Cycling will have women in its top positions, both in leadership and athletic performance, which will include the chairwoman of the board and high-performance director positions.

We declare development and high-performance opportunities, which are oh-so important and scarce in this sport, should be both less scarce and more fairly and transparently provided.

We declare that as members of a non-profit organization that is funded by its members, we have rights within the organization! Our organization will keep in mind that it was founded to represent cyclists and in order to remember this, we will place more of the power of the organization back in the member’s hand.

We declare that our organization will remember the importance of local and national-level racing over racing abroad. We feel Men’s ProTour teams should be responsible for their own development and our focus is best left closer to home, focusing on all disciplines and all genders.

We declare that our organization will focus less on international high-performance achievement and more on local and domestic engagement, promoting the mental and physical benefits of cycling for all ages which in turn leads to sustainable elite international performance by increasing our depth of talent and general support of the sport
