What’s that Fonz?

I think of late nights at the drive in, closing Arnold’s at midnight, drag races, and chain fights, Mrs Cs potato salad, and Jenny in her polka dot green bikini, yea, red that’s my version of summer, but Ayyy it’s a quite different time I suppose.

Well yea Fonzie, it’s not 1955 anymore and people just can’t keep doing the same things year after year. Tradition is one thing but humdrum is another.

Yea, I see your point red, But come on you have to admit the summer 2021, was far different than even you could of pictured?

Yea Fonz, I didn’t quite expect it to be warm, and the storms Fonz, POW, crash..kabam..

No Cunningham, I believe you missed the point. Let’s  expand on it. I bet you had your desired on weekends stacked with all sorts of bike stuff, racing, trail parties, hot laps, downtown crits, and all day road races?

Well yea, Fonz, I did, but it did. Come on Fonz, using your own words don’t be a nerd

Well Fonz there was some pretty neat racing every week all summer long at the local race tracks. And Fonz you like fights too ! and there were almost brawls there too.

yea, Fonz its been a hot summer..with guys, Like Luke Big man Mullis winning more often than not on the west side, and the controversial Base Media squad upsetting the eastern dream. and whatta about Free-ride Mcbride winning field sprints like it was free throws ?

Eh..

Gotta admit he was riding well, and that Caldwell kid is pretty sudden, and Jorden taking ownership of one of the greatest canoe races in the world is pretty rad. 

Ok Rich, I’m getting convinced 

Fonz come on the best sprinter of our time Ben Renkema comes home and pummeled the field on Wednesday night, and cough, choke, wins that thing called Watermoo 

Rich, they had to cross a leach infested creek, that in the world of skinny jeans doesn’t jive with the Fonz.

and what about..Real racers riding around real fast at the Novi Tree farm relay?

Gotta agree with me Fonz, there hasn't been a shortage of trail time for most everyone.

Well I think you get my drift, its been a pretty neat summer. and if you were ever bored, its cuz your just boring.

Yea sure no problem..But the real people you should thank Fonz is the scene itself, cuz you know without them there wouldn't be any of this!
