Tripper: it’s summer, I mean it’s officially summer Rudy, why the long face.

Rudy: I don’t know Tripper, I try not get to jazzed up on it..

Tripper: awe come, 100 degree heat , fire flys, ice cream trucks, pool time and late night porch talks, what could you possibly be missing..?

Rudy: Well Tripper I heard rumors they canceled that big Detroit race?

Tripper oh yea, that..well Rudy, I’m not sure why, but I believe it probably was over scheduling and money issues..

Rudy: doesn’t leave a roadie much to look forward to, and second it’s just another hit the dying road scene. I mean Tripp you were around during the Lance effect, it’s gotta stick you a tad ?

Tripper: it does Rudy, but I tend not to dwell on the past soo much, I fortunate enough to have experience the downtown races, the Tour of Cedar Creek, the Kalamazoo road race, the Lansing night crit etc. and I’ll tell you this rabbit it was a good time. But racing isn’t the only reason I do what I do. I never let it define me. There is soo much more radical shit out there, and in case you haven’t heard you only have one chance at life.
