15.

14

13. Amanda Schaap, TMS current reigning CX queen....

12. Earl Hillkiller, once a TMS favorite for the cup, Earl has lost a little edge these past few season a good ride would be a spot on the boxes..

11. BRad Lako, yer average masters racer, will get an average place, his best will be a third...despite that he wins the best dress crosser of 2022, his one off KLM kit is pretty fckn trick.

10.  John Meyers. Former ICEMAN winner Good time Johnny has been on tear this past few months. If he doesn't bag a state title then this would a big disappointment

9. Brian Harville, Brian spent some time outta state last week, lets hope it enuff to get him the win. but..

8. There's Simon Bailey one of the last of the Old Guard, although he has looked a tad off this fall, he normally comes semi good at the end

7.

6. Derrick Ubbink, Not sure if Derrick can crack the boxes but Im putting him in the top 5.

5. Nicholas Stanko. Nick is like the energizer bunny, but not to be confused with the Original Bunny, that dude was just dam scary, but Nick keeps coming. Even if the Pony shows, the Elite masters is his to lose..

4. Tim Saari, who would of thunk the Under Dog of 2004 would still be the Underdog of 2022. Man O Man..the Scene never ceases to amaze me. Every year I think it’s gonna be the year, despite the eb n flo of CX in the Miscene it’s still CX and the cup still means something. If the stars align...

3.

2. Tom Burke..man how many times has this guy one this thing, not mention how many state titles in other disciplines has he snagged?  Seems like yesterday the folks at TMS were doubting he would ever get the keys to clubhouse, now we are on the other side wondering if he can take down...My heart is on Tommy...

But my grip is on...

1. Fred Junge if anyone deserves or has a shot at Michiganscene CX cup it’s this guy, the only one out there getting stabbed in the eye at UCI races. To say he’s not the favorite is a crying shame..Hes a good kid, and one of TMSs favorite amongst the new breed!

Kinda scary and somewhat awkward to be mumbling State Championship CX predictions when I still have flowers blooming on the deck, and leaves to rake around the estate

Sherman..but Mr. Rollins.....this list looks incomplete, it’s missing a number of spots? u did not  even include the little Pony...What gives?

Boy your sharp kid...

but unfortunately due the lackadaisical ways of many sceners, there still could be a chance that a wildcard could pop in, listen kid, I’m only going off the preregistration, I have no idea who might decide to commit in the eleventh hour..

Sherm...oh I see, like you know, maybe some guys are just waiting to feel out the vibe..or there doing the Lowell gravel race on Saturday and wanna make sure they still have some legs for it ?

Yea.. or maybe some just are ready to call it a season. And despite that this is a USA cycling state championship,

there done.

You know kid, just because it’s a state championship doesn’t always mean you have to do it?

Sherman, I guess Mr Rollins but I would think it holds a sort of high regard, ya know?

Maybe...

but to do a race to just do a race is a poor habit to get into.....

Scotty is rumored to race. Don't count him out, pretty sure he has won 90% of the cross races he's ever entered.

CX was early, turn out was good, course was up/down and TMS coverage/predictions were.....a little lacking ;)

...but Halloween must be TMS's favorite time of year
