47 years ago today (29 November 1975) Graham Hill died at the age of 46, along with 5 members of the Embassy Hill Grand Prix team, when his Piper Turbo-Aztec light aircraft which he was piloting crashed in fog approaching Elstree Airport in Hertfordshire, England. Amongst those passengers who died was Embassy Hill F1 driver Tony Brise, one of Britain’s most promising rising stars.
