Good morning ….beautiful people of the Michiganscene…

Can you absolutely believe it…it is nearly Summer…spring weather hasn’t even kicked in the we are peaking closely to warmer days, can of White Claw…and sweaty nights at race car track world championships! Can you dig it?

Hell for me it feels like we have already had entire season! What with All the gravel stuff, the AAVC series coming to a close, Mud Sweat and beers! Holy focking bat turds…I betcha some even the most fit sceners are thinking of switching gears for a little rear of sorts! I have to say it’s been a pretty special spring. Here and around the state…it’s been quite awhile since even I caught up on what’s really happening. So for my own sake and maybe your let’s recap the last few weeks…

Spring Flinging at AAVC seemed a tad strange..although the turnout lacked the numbers of days of yore, the fine folks kept the vibe high! It was kind of strange, not seeing a pile of Base Media fellas out there and watt? No Scott Kroske? It looked like a good pile of Lexus velodrome. Trekkies made the transition and what we lacked in base media. The turbo boys made up for it with some strong finishes, and even the evil dude made an appearance on the final Sunday! Oh and speaking of the turbo boys, it looks like the former gravel king has got a little inner competition as his teammate multi State champ seemed to put together some solid rides!

And how about the Grayling giant traveling south of the border to treat um at the black Fork gravel as well as a few other events closer to the deep south. The mud sweat and beers looked like it had a pretty good turn out mountain biking and cycling in general seems to be thriving up there close to the TC area. All of this would let you believe that I am totally in and loving it, but in actuality, I’m TMS and I hate doing this blog, but we all know if someone has to do it! 

Because when you really think about it without TMS, there is no Michiganscene!
