Two Great Races! All I can say is WOW. The cream of the crop rose to the top on courses that you could not fake a ride on. Fantastic!

Thumbs up to Priority Health and the professional races they put on. To the locals that stood out, Rob Daksiewicz, Vince Roberge and Tom Burke, these riders really threw down with the big boys and making me wish I could have been doing the same! Also all the fast big thighs that came into town to remind us that we have a little more training to do to be real good!

Thumbs down to my performance but I'm inspired and will work for another shot at it again next year.

I just want to make sure I have it right about Ann Arbor:

Pro 1: 60 plus starters, pay out to 25, the shelling started at lap 1.

13 riders finished on the lead lap
6 riders finished 1 lap down
2 riders finished 2 laps down

21 riders made it to finish line

Watching the bomb that blew up what was left of the peloton 45 min or so into the race when the lone escaper Brad White got caught after a 20 minute plus solo escape (largest lead 40 seconds) was something any die hard racer would appreciate. Great bike racers, still in the $$$ riding to the start/finish line and throwing in the towel. Only seen that a few time, and maybe not since the last time they used a version of this course. What a race!

Saturday & Sunday Rocked!
1) I burped up my lunch 2 days in a row.
2) I scared myself sprinting on cobbles
3) My ARMS are sore!
4) you couldn't have paid me $500 to ride another 20 min at AA...I was completely shelled.
5) I watched the last 1/2 of the AA race sitting next to Sven, Frankie, Ben R., Derek G. and Ben W., all looking like they had seen a monster
5) Bring the races back next year, I'll be there, and hopefully better prepared!

very befitting, i heard they used to call it the DEATH COURSE.

The "old" course was much easier if that is any indication (went in the reverse directtion and didn't include the RR track block).

The 2008 course was tricky, only one line through most corners, momentum reduced quite a bit out of turns 3/4 and 5/6.

Props to everyone who came out to play.
